Isaan Art and Culture at Sakon Nakhon, Rajabhat University, Thailand

lac-snruIn Thai called Muun Mang Isaan it was scheduled to run from Friday through the weekend, but when we arrived on Saturday to see half the exhibits gone I was quite pleased to have visited on Friday afternoon when the exhibits were open and there was music and stage shows happening
A group playing Isaan music with traditional instruments and dancers was the first exhibit to meet me the Twitcast Here and you can see my stroll around the area here  A number of exhibits demonstrating weaving, pottery and even writing script on palm leaf  were drawing interested students and visitors There was plenty of Isaan clothing, instruments and other craft. Once again it is a shame that these events do not get properly advertised and that they seem to lack the support of the University that presents them…

And a National Tourist Board that is incompetent. And Finally a better resolution YouTube Viseo of some music
