The Rama 9 Art Museum, Thailand

The first thing you learn about Art Museum is that it is on internet only, but list a street address and phone number. I was directed to the site by Frank Anderson of the Korat Post after a conversation about Pairot Samosorn.
Sadly like so many things in Thailand it is more about appearance than substance and finding ones way around the site is a bit convoluted to my mind. I rrived at many stations expecting to see art, but only finding more stuff.

While much of it is in English all I could find in the section on the “Supreme Artist”, meaning King Rama IX was in Thai.

Whatever the case it is a site worth muddling through if you are interested in modern art in Thailand
