Random Acts of Kindness Free Computer Repair Clinic AND Make A Difference Daytbcs2

Saturday, October 25th, 9am-3pm
TBCS is celebrating 2 great causes with a single event on Saturday, October 25, 2014! We have been celebrating Random Acts of Kindness at least once a year for over 10 years now. We have repaired over 500 of our communities’ computers for absolutely no cost.

Since it happens that Make A Difference Day coincides with our event, we wanted to promote it also. On October 25th, millions of volunteers across the nation will unite with a common mission – to improve the lives of others. For more than 20 years, USA WEEKEND Magazine, in collaboration with Points of Light, has brought you Make A Difference Day, the largest national day of community service.

What a great thing to promote!

Bring your friends & neighbours for a day of free seminars & free eats!
This event is open to all – you do not need to be a TBCS member to attend.

Speakers’ Schedule
10am – Charles Oppermann: “Windows 8.1”
Learn the real inner skinny on how best to use the latest version of Windows. Charles is a technical developer, programmer, & author as well a great teacher.

11am – Webmaster Sam Richardson: “Streaming your Music Library from the Cloud”
How to safely store a copy of our music in the cloud so we can stream it to any device from wherever we are.
This was quite informative and something I had forgotten about as it was not available in Thailand.

tbcs0312pm – Lunch: Who said there’s no such thing as a free lunch?
A fine potluck!

1pm – Tony Rockliff: “Unlocking the Power of Time-Saving Apps”
Great mobile & desktop apps designed to save you lots of time (and money).

2pm – Kristin Pelletiere: “iPad Tips & Tricks”
People love Kristin’s straightforward and understandable seminars.
FREE Computer Repair: You MUST register by October 20th to attend our repair clinic: http://bit.ly/kindnessclub

Note: Free computer repair is offered to those who have never sampled our services before. If you are a past or present TBCS member, or you have been a recipient of our RAK clinic in the past, you will not be accepted again for repair. Sorry.
