From Tom’s Desk, Health Care in America

pogo enemy1I have spent most of my adult life outside the United States. Thailand for 20 years, England and Ieland for a few and now almost a year in the States. Thailand has the worst health care I have ecountered. I have watched long term illness, sickeness and death in my years there. I have seen the state of many government hospitals, and talked to many doctoers who could not care less about the state of the people. Yes of course there are many good doctors and hospitals, but as a common Thai, I would not like the odds.

Abuse of the system and a litigious society make costs high in the States. Also education and health care as a business has the expected results.
