Isaan From Above, Sights and Sites in Northeast Thailand

Since my return to Isaan in September last year I have been photographing the region using a DJI, Phantom3. All of the photos are geotagged, but, unfortunately those locations can’t always be seen in places like Facebook and  Twitter. If you are looking for a place to visit, or just want to see where something is located the best thing to do is to go to the album in Picasa.

Now there are 2 ways to do this. If you want to see the entire album just CLICK HERE  you will see the entire album and the photo locations on the right. Or you can go directly to the album map and see the photos at their locations. While there are no descriptions of the photos you will usually see the place on the Google Map and can do further searches for the site. If you go to this post photo in the album and, in this case zoom out a bit you will see that it is at Rajabhat University, Sakon Nakhon. Since it is often difficult to see what’s happening looking at the tablet when shooting from above I take 1000s of frames, but I use Tom’s Picks to put “viewable” selections. As I update more and more photos will be added to the album. I hope it helps folks find places to visit in the area.
