Hospital Day is actually the 21st, a Sunday so the parade took place this morning. I hope no one was waiting for a nurse.

Rocket Festival Parade, Wang Sam Mo, Thailand 2012

Another year another rocket festival season. The purpose of the rockets is to bring on the rains, but some years they come in the midst of the rains and some years seem to stop the rains that have already arrived.

An Isaan Moment 17.11.11

A break from the gloom and dumb and doom that has flooded Isaan and Thailand for the past few months. Everyone loves a parade and this was great as it lasted about 5 minutes, no standing around, it kept moving and it was a 20 meter walk to get to it So here you go not quite 76 trombones, thank goodness
